DAHLONEGA – Opening weekend for baseball, softball and tennis on top of more home Peach Belt basketball highlights action this week for University of North Georgia Nighthawk Athletics. A busy Saturday in Dahlonega includes the No. 17 UNG rifle team's lone home competition of the season where the senior will be honored at the break between the disciplines.

- Registration Open: 2024 Alumni Weekend Scholarship Golf TournamentDAHLONEGA – Registration is now live for the 49th Annual UNG Alumni Weekend Scholarship Golf Tournament. This year's tournament will take place on Friday, April 19th at Achasta Golf Club, and will be the first of many events happening that weekend as part of the University of North Georgia's Parent Alumni Weekend.
- Schabath Joins Nighthawks as Director of Communications, AthleticsDAHLONEGA – The University of North Georgia has announced Brendan Schabath as the new Director of Communications, Athletics. He will serve as the primary communications contact for the department's 13 sports as well as the executive director of the Nighthawk Sports Network.
- This Week In Nighthawk Athletics: February 12DAHLONEGA - Another busy week in Dahlonega includes six teams in action at home for University of North Georgia Nighthawk Athletics. The weekend will feature the No. 1 Nighthawk softball team hosting the nine-game UNG Leadoff Classic over three days and the UNG baseball team with its final non-conference three-gamer series at home against Quincy. The North Georgia tennis teams will also make their home debuts on Tuesday in a rescheduled match against Newberry while the basketball teams will host a pivotal Peach Belt Conference doubleheader against Lander on Wednesday night.
