Rare corpse flower blooms for first time at UNG

Nine years ago, Dr. Ashlee McCaskill acquired a titan arum for the greenhouse on University of North Georgia's Dahlonega Campus. The commonly called corpse flower takes seven to 10 years to bloom for the first time. UNG's flower named Carol bloomed for the first time May 7, 2020. Read more about Carol on the UNG Newsroom:
