After a 2-hour and 19-minute rain delay, the Nighthawks exploded for seven runs in the fourth inning and two in the fifth to walk off the Columbus State Cougars with a 10-2, five-inning win in game one of the 2024 Peach Belt Conference Softball Tournament Championship.

After already clinching the Peach Belt Conference regular season championship, the Nighthawks will return home to Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park on Friday, Apr. 26 to host the PBC Tournament as the top seed.
