3D Mapping, 3D Printing, Unmanned Aerial Drone at The University of North Georgia
The University of North Georgia Gainesville Campus is home to the Lewis F. Rogers Institute for Environmental and Spatial Analysis, and houses major parts of our physics and engineering programs. We offer a bachelor's degree in Applied Environmental Spatial Analysis; an associate degrees concentrations in engineering and physics; engineering bachelor's degree partnership programs with other universities; and a bachelor's degree in physics . This video shows how an autonomous drone - unmanned aerial system - flies over terrain and generates 3-D models that have many applications, from water-flow studies to mapping, to engineering projects. It also showcases 3D printing and atomic force microscope. If you want to learn highly relevant and applicable technology that is in demand by many employers, check out the Lewis F. Rogers Institute.
