Sayre will lead the Wolves as they transition to NCAA Division I during the 2024 season.

The University of North Georgia placed a combined 20 student-athletes from women's cross country (4), women's soccer (11) and men's soccer (5) on the list.
- El-Shami & Fowler Named United Soccer Coaches All-AmericansKANSAS CITY – United Soccer Coaches announced the 2023 NCAA Division II Men's and Women's All-Americans on Thursday with a pair of University of North Georgia women's soccer player receiving the All-American designation. Maysoon El-Shami was selected a first team All-American while teammate Sierra Fowler collected 2nd team All-American honors.

UNG's four first team selections marks the most honorees from a single school in the Southeast Region.
- No. 22 North Georgia Ends Season in Overtime at NCAA Southeast RegionalSALISBURY, N.C. — In their third overtime game in eight days, the No. 22 University of North Georgia women's soccer team fell 2-1 in overtime against Catawba in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional semifinals. The Nighthawks took a lead late in the first half before Catawba answered with four minutes left in regulation, scoring the game winner in the final minutes of the first overtime period.
