DAHLONEGA – The University of North Georgia has announced David Trotter as the new Director of Creative Services at UNG. He will serve as the director for UNG's creative content in graphic design, photography and videography.

"I am ecstatic to join North Georgia this year," said Trotter. "UNG is a place of excellence with high-quality people and teams. I experienced that from the outside during my time at LR, but now I'm excited to be a member of an impressive and hard-working team."

The Charlotte, N.C. native joins the Nighthawks after most recently serving as the Director of Graphic Design/Photography at Lenoir-Rhyne. At LR, Trotter created digital content for the Bears which included individual/team graphics, game day graphics, score graphics, marketing materials, schedule posters, media guide covers and more. He photographed and created graphics for all 23 LR sports, which included softball's run to the NCAA semifinals, men's lacrosse's National Championship appearance, football's national semifinal appearance and women's soccer's Elite Eight run.

"When we were presented with David's application, our hiring committee was immediately impressed by his creative abilities," said Morgan May, UNG's Assistant Athletic Director for Communications & Marketing. "His talent in the creative world and work ethic match our goals as an athletic department. David will immediately assist in our mission to be the best university in the nation in all facets of collegiate athletics."

Prior to LR, Trotter worked as a men's basketball Social Media Assistant at Anderson University where he attended college. With the Trojans, Trotter created engaging social media posts for the team's Instagram and Twitter accounts. He also spent time as a student worker at Anderson, creating graphics for university athletic social media accounts and physical marketing pieces.

Trotter graduated from Anderson with a Bachelor's degree in Communications with an emphasis in Digital Media in May of 2023.
