NEWBERRY, S.C. – The No. 13 University of North Georgia (UNG) men's tennis team won its third consecutive match with a complete 7-0 win on the road at Newberry Monday afternoon.

UNG only lost one set in the entire match against the Wolves on Sunday and it came in the #2 doubles contest.

As both teams split the #2 and #3 doubles matches, junior Pedro Liborio and freshman Franco Rebora pulled out an exciting 7-6 (7-5 tiebreaker) victory in the #1 singles match to clinch the lone doubles point overall.

In singles the Nighthawks completely swept Newberry as they won every single set in that portion of the match.

UNG will now get ready for another regional match as the team will head to Greeneville, Tenn. to take on Tusculum on Friday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m.
