Nighthawks Stand Out At Georgia Tech Invitational
ATLANTA, Ga. – The University of North Georgia (UNG) competed in the Georgia Tech Invitational over the weekend.
Among a field of NCAA Division I teams, the Nighthawks had a number of standout performances.
Senior Anna Chasteen headlined the weekend with a ninth-place finish in the women's 3000-meter Steeplechase with a time of 11:21.43.
Senior Ella Stoudenmire also finished fifth in her heat and 28th overall in the 800-meter race. She ran a time of 2:15.96 in the event.
As a team, the Nighthawks raced to a 21st-place finish in the 4 x 400 relay after running a combined time of 4:07.84 in the event.
With the regular season complete, UNG now looks ahead to the 2025 Peach Belt Conference Championship. The conference championship meet takes place on Tuesday, April 29 in Daytona Beach, Fla.
