DAHLONEGA -- No. 23 University of North Georgia (UNG) women's basketball senior guard Ansley Hall has been named as the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

In UNG's gritty 73-65 road win at Emmanuel Wednesday, Hall had her best game of the season to keep the Nighthawks undefeated this year.

Hall led UNG with a season-high 21 points, finishing one-point shy of her career high. She went 7-for-13 from the floor while adding six rebounds, three assists and a dazzling career-high five steals.

Hall was responsible for 28 of the Nighthawk's 73 points (38.4 percent) in the win. She now has three games with two or more steals this season. She also scored in double figures in consecutive outings for the first time this year.

The weekly conference honor comes as the first of Hall's career and UNG's second of the season. Graduate guard Caroline Martin won the award in the opening week of the season. This now marks the 10th year since 2005 and the third since 2020 that the Nighthawks have had multiple PBC Players of the Week in a single season.

Hall and UNG picked up an important road win at Catawba 85-74 on Monday and will return home to Lynn Cottrell Arena at the UNG Convocation Center on Saturday, Dec. 21 to take on No. 10 Carson-Newman at 1:30 p.m.
