UNG Women's Soccer Schedule Changes Announced
DAHLONEGA -- The University of North Georgia (UNG) athletic department has announced recent changes to the women's soccer schedule. Due to the regional impacts of Hurricane Helene, UNG's scheduled games against Lander and North Greenville have been adjusted.
The Nighthawks were scheduled to face Lander this weekend on Saturday, Oct. 5 in Dahlonega. That game has been officially postponed and will be made up a a later, to be determined date.
UNG was also slated to take on North Greenville next Wednesday Oct. 9 in Dahlonega as well. That game has been officially canceled and will not be rescheduled.
The Nighthawks currently sit at 6-1 on the year and 2-0 in Peach Belt Conference matches. They will not take the field again until Saturday, Oct. 12 in a Peach Belt Conference road game against Albany State. That contest is scheduled to being at 4 p.m.
