- Nighthawks Win PBC Championship For First Time In Program HistoryCOLUMBUS, Ga. – For the first time in program history, the University of North Georgia women's tennis team is champions of the Peach Belt Conference Tournament. The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) No. 3 Nighthawks used four singles wins against No. 8 Flagler to take down the Saints 4-2 and seal UNG's first PBC Tournament title in program history.

His two-out blast in the ninth inning was something from a movie script, giving the Nighthawks an 11-9 win in the final game at Bob Stein Stadium this season.

As the top seed in the tournament, the championship round will remain in Dahlonega at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park as UNG will host the final series.

- Nighthawks Clipped By Late-Game Rally From BobcatsDAHLONEGA – The University of North Georgia baseball team suffered a late rally at the hands of Georgia College Saturday afternoon, resulting in a 9-7 loss. The Nighthawks honored their four seniors prior to the game at Bob Stein Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park but were unable to celebrate with a win. They'll still get a chance to do so in the final regular season game at Bob Stein Stadium with a 1 p.m. finale tomorrow, Sunday, Apr. 28 against GCSU.

With the win, the Nighthawks advance to the semifinals where they will take on second-seeded and No. 6 Columbus State tomorrow, Saturday, Apr. 27 at 1 p.m.
- Nighthawks Can't Get Past GCSU's Glanton, Fall 6-1 Against BobcatsDAHLONEGA – The University of North Georgia baseball team suffered a 6-1 loss at the hands of Georgia College at Bob Stein Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park Friday night. The loss dashed the Nighthawks' hopes of hosting part of the Peach Belt Conference Tournament next weekend, as a sweep of the Bobcats was needed to secure second place and hosting rights in the league.
