UNG Men's Basketball Announces Third Annual Kids Camp
DAHLONEGA – The University of North Georgia men's basketball team announced its third annual Basketball Kids Camp on Tuesday. Registration for the four day event at Lynn Cottrell Arena at the UNG Convocation Center is now open.
All rising second through eighth grade boys and girls are welcome to join head coach Dan Evans and his players for an action packed week of fun, education and, of course, plenty of basketball.
Date: Monday, July 15 – Thursday, July 18, 2024
Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Cost: $215.00 (daily lunch provided)
Location: UNG Convocation Center among other campus sites
Ages: Rising 2nd – 8th grade BOYS AND GIRLS are welcome
Join the reigning Peach Belt Conference and Southeast Region Champions from North Georgia Basketball for a week of fun and learning! Our coaches and players will assist athletes of all levels to develop basketball fundamentals, sportsmanship, technical skills and team play. Kids will be asked to work hard while having fun with old and new friends. The camp will include guidance on ball handling, passing, footwork and shooting. Games and competitions will be held daily while promoting the qualities that sports teach so well: teamwork, integrity, joy, and camaraderie. Boys and girls are welcome!
