This Week In Nighthawk Athletics: April 29

DAHLONEGA – The No. 8 University of North Georgia softball team will once again host the Peach Belt Conference Softball Tournament Championship this weekend at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park.

DAHLONEGA – The No. 8 University of North Georgia softball team will once again host the Peach Belt Conference Softball Tournament Championship this weekend at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park. 

After three wins in the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds last weekend, the Nighthawks advanced to their tenth consecutive PBC tournament title game. As UNG welcomes second-seeded Columbus State to Dahlonega as its foe, it will also look to hoist the PBC Tournament trophy for the 10th straight time.

The best-of-three-games series will begin at The Hill on Friday, May 3 with game one at 3 p.m. Game two will follow at 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 with the final "if necessary" game being played 30 minutes after game one's completion.
