DAHLONEGA -- No. 10 University of North Georgia (UNG) softball junior center fielder Sydnee Reaves has been named the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season the conference announced Monday.

Reaves hit .400 at the plate with a 1.000 slugging percentage over the weekend in a three-game sweep of Lander. She totaled six runs, a double, a triple, a home run, three stolen bases, eight RBI and a walk without striking out in the three-game set.

Reaves recorded a multi-run, multi-hit, multi-RBI game in both the series opener on Saturday and the finale on Sunday.

She currently leads the PBC in runs scored and is second in runs driven in. She also ranks fifth in slugging, ninth in batting average and fifth in home runs.

The outfielder becomes the first Nighthawk to win multiple PBC Player of the Week awards in one season since Kim McMillan did so in 2013. Reaves was also named the top player for the week within the conference back on Feb. 3.

UNG and Reaves are back in action once again this week with a Wednesday doubleheader against Union. Both games will take place in Birmingham, Ala. at The Thunderbolt Complex at Shea Brothers Stadium. First pitch in game on of the twin billing is scheduled for 2 p.m.
