No. 22 Nighthawks Earn Third Seed In PBC Tournament
DAHLONEGA -- The No. 22 University of North Georgia (UNG) men's tennis team has earned the third seed in the 2025 Peach Belt Conference Men's Tennis Tournament the league office announced in its full bracket release Monday afternoon.
UNG finished the regular season with a 10-6 overall record and a 2-3 mark in conference play. The program's 10th double-digit win season in school history was good enough for third place in the league this year behind top-seeded and No. 4 Flagler and second-seeded No. 19 Columbus State (CSU).
The Nighthawks earned the third seed in the bracket after coming out on top of a three-way tiebreaker with fourth-seeded No. 26 Lander and fifth-seeded No. 28 Georgia College. UNG opened the 2025 conference schedule on the road at Augusta back on March 4 and came away victorious by a score of 5-2.
