- Nighthawks Scheduled to Compete in 2024 Small College Basketball Hall of Fame ClassicDAHLONEGA – The University of North Georgia men's basketball team will open the 2024-25 season by competing in the 2024 Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic, as announced by Small College Basketball last week. The Hall of Fame Classic, which began in Evansville, Ind. in 2016, returns to Lakeland, Fla. and Florida Southern after the 2023 edition of the event was held there last season.

- No. 8 Nighthawks Advance To PBC Title Game After 9-0 Win Over FlaglerDAHLONEGA – The No. 8 University of North Georgia softball team raced past fourth-seeded Flagler to a 9-0, five-inning win in the 2024 Peach Belt Tournament semifinals to advance to the tournament championship for the tenth consecutive time. As the top seed in the tournament, the championship round will remain in Dahlonega at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park as UNG will host the final series.
