- High School Equivalency Program grant renewed(1:01) UNG's High School Equivalency Program had its federal grant renewed for $2.3 million for the next five years. The increase will allow the program to expand its reach to 70 students on UNG's Blue Ridge and Oconee campuses as well as online.

- Spring 2021 commencement ceremonies(1:13) More than 1,100 graduates and their guests participated in the spring 2021 commencement ceremonies May 8-9 at the Convocation Center on UNG's Dahlonega Campus. The ceremonies resembled a mix of traditional elements and socially distant protocols. Additionally, some 54 cadets commissioned into military service in individual ceremonies held May 5-7.
