(1:01) UNG's High School Equivalency Program had its federal grant renewed for $2.3 million for the next five years. The increase will allow the program to expand its reach to 70 students on UNG's Blue Ridge and Oconee campuses as well as online.

(1:13) More than 1,100 graduates and their guests participated in the spring 2021 commencement ceremonies May 8-9 at the Convocation Center on UNG's Dahlonega Campus. The ceremonies resembled a mix of traditional elements and socially distant protocols. Additionally, some 54 cadets commissioned into military service in individual ceremonies held May 5-7.
