- Denton Dazzles As No. 8 Nighthawks Cruise To 8-0 Victory To Open PBC TournamentDAHLONEGA – The No. 8 University of North Georgia softball team started its quest for a second consecutive national championship with an 8-0 win over Augusta in the first round of postseason play in the 2024 Peach Belt Conference Softball Tournament Friday afternoon. Hosted at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park, the Nighthawks' consistent offensive attack and dominant pitching led to the six inning victory.
- No. 8 Nighthawks Total Most Awards In 2024 PBC Softball Postseason HonorsDAHLONEGA – The No. 8 University of North Georgia softball team dominated the Peach Belt Conference Postseason honors this year. The Nighthawks had seven different players earn eight different awards, while head coach Mike Davenport was named PBC Co-Coach of the Year, tallying his tenth coach of the year honor in his career.

After already clinching the Peach Belt Conference regular season championship, the Nighthawks will return home to Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park on Friday, Apr. 26 to host the PBC Tournament as the top seed.
- Blair Hits Four Home Runs, No. 4 Nighthawks Blast Eight In Double Header At LanderGREENWOOD, S.C. – The No. 4 University of North Georgia softball team split a Saturday double header at Lander with a 10-5 loss in game one, followed by a 14-5 win in game two.
- This Week In Nighthawk Athletics: April 15DAHLONEGA – With a Sunday afternoon match completing the athletic events this week for the University of North Georgia No. 10 men's tennis and No. 3 women's tennis programs, the Nighthawks will celebrate Senior Day at the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek against Georgia College. The match is set for Sunday, Apr. 21 at 2 p.m. as the two programs led by head coach Kent Norsworthy will honor their seven combined seniors against the Bobcats.

- No. 2 Nighthawks Clinch 10th Consecutive PBC Regular Season Title Against GCSUDAHLONEGA – In a roller coaster day of emotions, the No. 2 University of North Georgia softball team split a doubleheader with Georgia College & State University. In doing so, with a win in game two, the Nighthawks clinched the Peach Belt Conference regular season championship for the 10th consecutive time in the last 11 seasons (the 2020 season had no champion after being canceled due to COVID-19).
