- DAHLONEGA – In its most exciting victory of the season, the University of North Georgia baseball team rallied for five runs in the ninth inning to come back and beat No. 15 Georgia Southwestern 7-6 on Thursday night. The Nighthawks now have a 15-2 record at Bob Stein Stadium this season after the thrilling finish against the Hurricanes.
- No. 4 Nighthawks Dominant In First PBC VictoryDAHLONEGA – In its first home match since Feb. 26, the No. 4 University of North Georgia women's tennis team dominated Lander in a 7-0 conference win, its first Peach Belt victory of the season. The Nighthawks are now 13-0 on the season and have soared to the fourth spot on the latest rankings from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
- Davis, Denton, Mooney Named To 2024 TUCCI/NFCA DII Player & Pitcher Of The Year WatchlistDAHLONEGA – The No. 1 University of North Georgia softball team has a trio of players listed on the 2024 TUCCI/NFCA DII Player & Pitcher of the Year Watchlist. Senior infielder/pitcher Sophie Mooney and senior pitchers Tybee Denton and Kristen Davis were all named to the watchlist as announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association on Thursday.
- No. 1 Nighthawks Split Doubleheader In Revisit To 2023 National Championship SiteCHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – At the site where the No. 1 University of North Georgia softball team hoisted the program's second National Championship trophy last spring, the Nighthawks took a trip down memory lane in a Wednesday doubleheader against Lee. At Jim Frost Stadium at Warner Park, UNG split the midweek, non-conference doubleheader with the Flames, losing the first game 9-3 and winning the second 11-2.

- Vajda Wins Tennessee River Rumble, No. 1 Nighthawks Finish SecondLENOIR CITY, Tenn. – The No. 1 University of North Georgia men's golf team finished in second place at the Lincoln Memorial Tennessee River Rumble while graduate student Jack Vajda won the event. UNG had all five competitors finish in the top-25 of the event on its way to the second place finish.
- No. 23 UNG Posts Sixth Place Finish At Lander Lady Bearcat InvitationalGREENWOOD, S.C. – The No. 23 University of North Georgia women's golf team finished in third at the Lander Lady Bearcat Invitational Tuesday afternoon. In the 22-team field, the Nighthawks' combined score of 921 left them seven shots out of fifth-place Lander. Wingate won the event with a 38-over-par combined score of 902. Following the Bulldogs in the top-five was Lee in second at 906, Limestone in third at 909 and Montevallo in fourth with an overall score of 911.
- Champion Named NABC All-AmericanDAHLONEGA – University of North Georgia men's basketball junior forward Frank Champion has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II All-American team the association announced Tuesday.

The two teams will no longer meet at Bob Stein Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park Tuesday.

The 22-team field competed for 36 holes at the par-72 Greenwood Country Club in Greenwood, S.C. on the first day of the tournament.
